I have a daugher, Katelyn (2 years old) and a son Conor (born Jan 2006). .
They are very sweet and make life interesting. My husband, Mike, is a software engineer in Dc and also makes life interesting!

I love to read and spend a lot of time doing that during the summer. This summer I read a lot a lot of children's books and parenting stuff, but usually I enjoy mysteries and fiction. My all-time favorite book is Margaret Mitchell's Gone with the Wind mainly because I admire Scarlet's ability to adapt and survive. I LOVE Ophrah's Book Club - I haven't read them all but really enjoyed the ones that I did read.

I'm easily addicted to reality tv shows. My favorite is Survivor . I can't wait for the new season! My favorite non-reality tv shows are Desperate Housewives and Seinfeld , but I spend more time watching Blue's Clues.

My favorite band is the Dixie Chicks . When I lived in Richmond and had a long commute, I listened to a lot of NPR on my drive. There isn't a public radio station in Fredericksburg, but sometimes you can get the Richmond station if the weather is right. You can always hear the NPR news of the day at NPR . Now that I'm a local, I usually keep it kid friendly and positive with WPER in the car.
